kudos to the one who uploaded this fine recording, i just stopped by to check out WRS and notice that finally FINALLY someone kept the chia/rider together as one song, as it was presented and meant to be by the boys. the people thinking they are purists for chopping songs up and causing a break in the music just kill the continuity of the show. if you want to be a purist, keep the music the way it was presented, i hate it when i'm in the groove and scarlet begonias stops abruptly coz someone thinks he is doing us a service by placing some silence between the two songs...for whatever reason. so i want to thank you for keeping china/rider together...the way it is meant to be...no rating till i finish listening

another western NY special. Love the HC Sunshine in the opening slot.

Couldn't find the Playin' on the below mentioned site, but this gig is amazing. The horn section adds so, so much and it drives the band further than usual...some free jazz stuff goin' on during Eyes. Highly recommended for those into experimental jazz, free-improv stuff.

The missing Playing in the band can be found at www.gdlive.com in the MP-3 section. It's worth downloading and adding to these files.

Another great example of the very jazzy groove from this peak year. Special guests Martin Fierro and Joe Ellis (trumpet and sax respectively) really add some nice spice to the Eyes>WRS Suite at the back end of the 2d set. The horn section really enhances the vibe and sound they were going for in that Wake of the Flood kinda way.
A couple of things to note: there is def. some AUD splicing in the lineage (as noted) and those SBD parts are loose at best. It's not the high end recording that other shows from this era are. Also, the tracking is a little quirky on Disc 3. Let it Grow spreads out over tracks 2&3 of Disc three (the text file only notes 3 files on disc three, there are actually 4 with Sugar Mags being track 4). Other than that, this is good stuff, the last Sing Me Back Home is also noteworth.
